Community Overview
Woodbine is at the Heart of Cathedraltown Community. Cathedraltown runs from Highway 404 on the West to Elgin Mills Road on the North, Major Mackenzie Drive on the South, and Victoria Square Blvd on the East. Woodbine Avenue runs through the Community from North to South. Cathedraltown is a small but more recent community in Markham. The land on the west side of Woodbine Avenue is still undeveloped. Most homes in the Community were constructed after the year 2000. In past 3 months, 7 Town homes were sold at average of $1.14M. Homeownership is high in Cathedraltown, with only about 5% of renters living in the Community. In Woodbine neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Chinese, Hong Konger, Canadian, Asian, and East-Indian. Without a car, residents can also rely on public transit. Several parks are well-distributed across the Community. The plaza also runs many businesses, including Tim Horton, Sports Chek, Shoppers Drug Mart, Beijing Tongrentang Chinese herbal store, TD Bank, and many other restaurants and stores.
