Community Overview

Helen is at the Heart of Village Green-South Unionville Community. South Unionville runs from McCowan Road on the east to Highway 7 on the North, Kennedy Road on the west, and Highway 407 on the South. It is an Asian ethnic dominant community with an average household income slightly below Toronto's average. The average lot frontage of detached housing is between 30 and 40 feet, but some executive homes close to Campbell Park can also have up to 200 feet front dimensions. In past 3 months, 3 Detached homes were sold at average of $1.77M. Over 93% of residents in this part of Markham are families. The Community is also close to Centennial Go station and Unionville Go Station, from which residents can journey directly to downtown Toronto in about 45 minutes. Milne Dam Conservation Park is a massive park at the east end of the Community, which offers a 2.3-kilometer trail crossing a splendid bridge, several beautiful creeks, and many large picnic and barbecue fields overlooking the rouge river. South Unionville Square, also known as Langham Square, is a multi-story indoor mall and outdoor plaza at Kennedy Road and South Unionville Avenue intersection, where shoppers can find T&T Supermarket, retail stores, restaurants, and professional offices. Village Green - South Unionville is an excellent community in Markham. Families choose to live here also because kids can attend top-tier schools and adults can enjoy convenient recreational facilities and shopping.
