Parktree is at South West Corner of Maple Community. The Community of Maple runs from Jane and Highway 400 on the west to Rutherford Road in the south, the Go Railway Barrier line on the east, and Teston Road on the north. Bounding highway 400 and having two GO stations, Maple offers its residents convenient transportation to transit to downtown Toronto. Old Maple Area, located west of Keele street and south of Major Mackenzie Drive, concentrates on many detached bungalows built around 1960. In past 3 months, 10 Town homes were sold at average of $914K. It has a higher than average of immigrants from East India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Portugal and Macedonia living close to Jane street and Teston road. In Parktree neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Italian, East-Indian, Chinese, Canadian, and Russian. Rutherford Go station near Rutherford and Westburne Drive and Maple station close to Major Mackenzie and McNaughton road allow residents to journey directly to downtown Toronto in about 30 minutes.
