Community Overview
Brighton Pl is at South West Corner of Crestwood-Springfarm-Yorkhill Community. The Community of Crestwood-Springfarm-Yorkhill runs from Yonge Street in the east to Centre Street in the North, Bathurst Street in the west, and Steeles Avenue in the South. It borders North York on the South and Markham on the east. About 45% of properties were constructed in the 1980s, while many others were built after the 1990s. Crestwood-Springfarm-Yorkhill is a relatively elder community with a median age of around 46. In Brighton Pl neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Chinese, Russian, Korean, Iranian, and Jewish. The Yonge North Subway Extension, expected to complete around 2030, will also have a new station at Yonge street and Clark Avenue. There are several parks distributed evenly throughout the Community.
