Community Overview
Belmont is at South East Corner of Maple Community. The Community of Maple runs from Jane and Highway 400 on the west to Rutherford Road in the south, the Go Railway Barrier line on the east, and Teston Road on the north. Bounding highway 400 and having two GO stations, Maple offers its residents convenient transportation to transit to downtown Toronto. The West part of the Community is newer, with many houses built after 2000. In past 3 months, 39 Detached homes were sold at average of $1.46M. The descendants of early European immigrants were spread in several neighbourhoods within the Community. In Belmont neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Italian, Guyanese, and East Indian. Further south of Jane Street is Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, where residents can take a subway to downtown Toronto at Vaughan Subway station. Residents can also have indoor sports in Maple Community Centre, which possesses a fitness centre, swimming pool, and bowling alley. Adjacent to the plaza on the west side of Jane Street stands Vaughan Tier One regional hospital, Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital. Many young families chose to live in Maple because of its convenient public transportation, proximity to large shopping centres, top-tier school zone and more affordable housing prices compared with neighbouring communities.
