East Woodbridge has a diverse population ethnically, and it has a sizeable number of Italian Canadians, over 50% of the population living in it. It takes 10 minutes to drive to the highway, even from the furthest spot in the neighborhood. East Woodbridge is home to The Boyd Conservation Area, famous for William Granger Greenway, a 13 km walking trail extending to the Kleinburg community. Residents are fortunate to have Vaughan Mills Mall, one of Canada's largest outlet malls, at the Community's northeast corner.
