Bayview is at the Heart of Devonsleigh Community. The Devonsleigh community runs from Yonge St on the West to Elgin Mill in the south, Bayview on the East, and 19th Ave on the north. It is a family-oriented community. Some light industries and warehouses are at the south end of the community east side of the rail track. While most residents can enjoy the quietness in the community, housing close to the rail track can experience noise and vibration as the railway serves not only Passenger Go Train but also the transcontinental freight lines. Public transit is not very convenient, but over 10 bus lines still pass through the community. Multiple walking trails also link residential and commercial real estate with community parks.
