Cathmar Dr is at the Heart of Greensborough Community. Greensborough runs from Markham Road on the West to Major Mackenzie Road on the North, 16th Avenue on the South, and Ninth Line on the East. Bur Oak Avenue and Donald Cousens Pkwy are two significant roads that run through the Community from east to West. Mount Joy Go Train railway track also splits the Community into the West as commercial and retail space and the east as a mainly residential area. With many unfilled lands, numerous new townhome and condominium neighborhoods are under development. In past 3 months, 4 Town homes were sold at average of $1.05M. Greensborough is an Asian ethnic dominant Community, with over 37% of the occupants Chinese and 30% from South Asia. In Cathmar Dr neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Chinese, East Indian, Sri Lankan, and Italian. Driving to highway 404 is about 15 minutes, but there have been long traffic jams along 16th avenue at peak hours due to the increasing population in the area.
