Kennedy is at South West Corner of Berczy Community. Berczy runs from Kennedy Road on the West to Major Mackenzie Road on the North, 16th Avenue on the South and Mccowan Road on the east. Three significant roads, Castlemore Avenue, Bur Oak Avenue and Wilfred Murison Avenue, run through the Community from east to west. And the other three major roads, William Berczy Blvd, The Bridle Walk and Stonebridge Drive, run through the Community from North to south. Berczy is a Chinese ethnic dominant community in Markham. Many locals even reference the Community as Tsinghua, a famous Chinese University, to demonstrate the concentration of the Chinese population and top-tier schools in the area. Many detached homes have four bedrooms with lot frontage between 35 and 45 feet. In past 3 months, 10 Town homes were sold at average of $977.5K. Furthermore, around 50% of residents in Berczy have received a university degree or higher. In Kennedy neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Chinese, and East Indian. Driving to highway 404 is about 8 miles, but there have been long traffic jams along 16th avenue at peak hours due to the increasing population in the area.
