Three significant roads, Castlemore Avenue, Bur Oak Avenue and Wilfred Murison Avenue, run through the Community from east to west. And the other three major roads, William Berczy Blvd, The Bridle Walk and Stonebridge Drive, run through the Community from North to south. Berczy is a Chinese ethnic dominant community in Markham. Many locals even reference the Community as Tsinghua, a famous Chinese University, to demonstrate the concentration of the Chinese population and top-tier schools in the area. The Southwest of the Community is a more lately developed neighbourhood with many houses built after 2010. In past 3 months, 15 Town homes were sold at average of $1.04M. Homeownership is high in Berczy, with only about 4% of renters living in the Community. In Harbord neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Chinese, and East Indian.
