Community Overview
Clark Ave is at the Heart of Thornhill Community. The community of Thornhill runs from Yonge Street on the west to Railway on the south, Bayview Avenue on the east, and German Mills Creek on the North. The community has convenient shopping and public transit. Bungalow, split, and two stories houses are very common, with the majority built between the 1960s and 1970s. The descendants of early European immigrants still dominate the community. In Clark Ave neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Iranian, Chinese, Korean, German, and English. Buses on Yonge Street connect Finch Subway station, which converges with the central transit system to downtown Toronto. Inside the community, there are Don Valley Park and Woodland Park. Residents can also find the World Shops shopping mall in the neighbouring Grandview community. Thornhill is a mature community at the heart of old Thornhill village. It has a plethora of housing options and convenient public transit.
