Standish Ave is at the Heart of Rosedale-Moore Park Community. The boundary of the community runs from Yonge Street on the west to Mount Pleasant Cemetery on the north, Mud Creek and Don River on the east, and Bloor Street on the south. Divided by the railway track, the community's north is called Moore Park, and the south is Rosedale. Most homes in the south community at Rosedale were constructed between 1850 and 1940 with architectural styles including Victorian, Georgian, Tudor, and Edwardian.
