Community Overview
Seguin St is at South West Corner of Oak Ridges Community. The Oak Ridge community is at the northwest corner of Richmond Hill. The community runs from Yonge St on the East to the edge of Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve in the south, Bathurst on the West, and Bloomington Road on the north. It borders Aurora City in the North and King Town in the West. Many houses were also built between the 1950 and 1980s, including small bungalows and neo-colonial-style homes. In past 3 months, 26 Town homes were sold at average of $1.08M. With more new immigrants moving into Richmond Hill in recent years, the major ethnic groups in Oak Ridge are now Italian, Chinese, Iranian, and Indian. Residents will need a car to live in this part of Richmond Hill, though there is limited public transit available on the major roads of the community. At the southwest corner of the Oak Ridges is Bathurst Glen golf field which spans one kilometre from Bathurst street. With the increasing residential real estate developments, there are more and more shops coming each year. Residential houses at Oak Ridges are relatively new. The price is more affordable than most parts of Richmond Hill. Oak Ridge can be a perfect place to settle down for families with two or more children.
