Brimwood is at the Heart of Bayview Hill Community. Community development started in the 1980s. The real estate developers planned this area with a high-end residential neighborhood in mind. The population density of this area is much lower than that of surrounding communities because most houses are sitting on larger lots. Families here generally are wealthier, and most bought their houses here because the famous Bayview Secondary School is one of the top schools across Ontario. Close to 100% of homes here are detached houses with a minimum of Four Bedrooms and a double car garage. In past 3 months, 8 Detached homes were sold at average of $2.61M. When the area was first developed, most residents were from Hong Kong. In Brimwood neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Chinese, East Indian, and Iranian. Though public transit is close to the neighborhood, residents here will almost live by car. A walking trail along with Beaver Creek runs through Bayview Hill. Bayview Hill Center Plaza, located at Spadina and 16th Ave, also has many shops, restaurants, a supermarket, and a bank. Bayview Hill is one of the top choices for families in Richmond Hill.
