Kingmount Cres is at North East Corner of Bayview Hill Community. Community development started in the 1980s. The real estate developers planned this area with a high-end residential neighborhood in mind. The population density of this area is much lower than that of surrounding communities because most houses are sitting on larger lots. Families here generally are wealthier, and most bought their houses here because the famous Bayview Secondary School is one of the top schools across Ontario. Around 50% of houses here were built between 1980 and 1990. In past 3 months, 13 Detached homes were sold at average of $2.95M. When the area was first developed, most residents were from Hong Kong. In Kingmount Cres neighbourhood, you will find many residents are Chinese, and Canadian. Though public transit is close to the neighborhood, residents here will almost live by car. A walking trail along with Beaver Creek runs through Bayview Hill. At Bayview Avenue and Weldrick, Village Gate Plaza has a supermarket, restaurants, and banks. Bayview Hill is one of the top choices for families in Richmond Hill. Many Chinese consider Bayview Ave and Yonge Street are dragon veins, a prosperous source with great Fengshui and wealth of Toronto. Some marketers promote the community as a Rich man's villa to attract wealthy families locally and abroad.
