Community Overview
Persica St is at South East Corner of Oak Ridges Community. The Oak Ridge community is at the northwest corner of Richmond Hill. The community runs from Yonge St on the East to the edge of Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve in the south, Bathurst on the West, and Bloomington Road on the north. It borders Aurora City in the North and King Town in the West. There are also a tiny amount condo apartments and modern condo townhomes sitting close to Yonge Street and Bond Crescent. In past 3 months, 25 Town homes were sold at average of $1.09M. The descendants of early European immigrants still dominate the community. Residents will need a car to live in this part of Richmond Hill, though there is limited public transit available on the major roads of the community. At the southwest corner of the Oak Ridges is Bathurst Glen golf field which spans one kilometre from Bathurst street. The shopping in the community is not very convenient, but one can find supermarkets, coffee shops and some restaurants on Yonge Street. Residential houses at Oak Ridges are relatively new. The price is more affordable than most parts of Richmond Hill. Oak Ridge can be a perfect place to settle down for families with two or more children.
